The Problem with Pressure Washing Companies Pt.1

The problem with most pressure washing companies is…they aren’t real companies.

Pete the Pressure Washer Comes with High Risk.

These contractors calling themselves pressure washing companies, are working with very little upfront investment and operating with very little profit when they offer dirt cheap prices. This results in:

Not Having the Right Equipment

You should never climb on a ladder and spray high pressure. The force of the blast will easily knock you off the ladder and you’ll get injured. To pressure wash high up, you need the right kind of pressure, tips and poles. Those are expenses Pete doesn’t want to pay for and can’t carry in his personal vehicle.

Not Having Insurance

This is a huge deal and you don’t need explaining why. Did you know that even pressure washers who DO claim to have insurance don’t have pressure washing specific insurance? Pressure washing is at the top of the high risk work list for insurance companies and they do not want to pay out when there is injury or damage caused by it.

***Did you know that if a contractor damages your property with their high-pressure water it’s not covered in general liability? That is an additional type of coverage that most companies do not carry either; even when they say that they’re insured.

Low Paid Employees

they don’t love their job and they don’t make much money. They don’t smile at your patrons, don’t have a good attitude and often smoke cigarettes on your property.
